The Quran contains international insights that need to be extracted and its messages should be presented on a global scale, an Iranian cleric and Quran interpreter said.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohsen Qara’ati made the remark in a gathering of managers and officials of the Hazrat Mahdi (AS) Foundation in Jamkaran, Qom, on Thursday.
He added that the Holy Quran is the book of life, stressing that its teachings should be present in the life of the people.
He also highlighted the importance of introducing Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), especially Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his glad advent), to all members of society.
It is among the responsibilities of the managers and officials of the foundation throughout the country to explain the status of Imam Zaman (AS), the cleric stated.
Hojat-ol-Islam Qara’ati went on to say that Islamic seminaries, universities and the education ministry also play a major role in promoting the culture of Mahdism (awaiting the Savior).
Hojat-ol-Islam Qara’ati is the author of the Noor (light) Exegesis of the Holy Quran.
The Noor Exegesis has been written in a simple and easy-to-understand language for all readers.
It covers all verses of the Quran and offers short and practical messages from the Quran.
